Digital map and attribute data derived from the publication "Exploratory Soil Survey of Alaska". The map is a broad based inventory of soils and nonsoil areas that occur in a repeatable pattern on the landscape and that can be cartographically shown at the 1:1,000,000 scale. The minimum area depicted is approximately 10,000 acres. Data was developed by he U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service.
