Abstract:
Landcover maps of Nabesna, Gulkana, McCarthy and Valdez quads were developed from satellite imagery for the Copper River Land Cover Mapping Project by the State Of Alaska Department Natural Resources in cooperation with U.S. Geological EROS Alaska Field Office.

Ecotrust used the GRID merge command to merge Nabesna, Gulkana, McCarthy and Valdez quads into one grid. McCarthy quad was the first entered, so final grid is registered most precisely with McCarthy grid.

Purpose: Provide appropriate scale data to meet park management needs.
