It contains only the Canadian boundaries close to Alaska. The CIA compiled data files about coastlines, countries, rivers, islands, and lakes of the world. The information has now been declassified to the public domain as the CIA World DataBank II and is available through INTERNET access via ftp (hanauma.stanford.edu; cd pub/World_Map). Another source for the CIA World Databank data is EROS in Sioux Falls, SD. EROS sells the data as RWDB2 -- Regional World Databank 2 -- and distributes some documentation.
