ABSTRACT: This dataset contains information on oceanographic profiles conducted in Glacier Bay National Park. The data are summaries of CTD casts containing processed profile data on temperature, salinity, depth, fluorescence and iradiance. PURPOSE: Data were collected as part of integrative studies to understand the oceanographic processes in Glacier Bay. The project was designed for multiple uses including evaluating the effects of commercial fishing, relationships between oceanographic conditions and marine life including endangered humpback whales, physical fjord estuarine processes, oil spill modeling and other research and management purposes.
