The dynamic nature of the Willapa Watershed Information System makes it necessary to update on a nearly continual basis. Some datasets such as elevation and rivers may not change much over time, but others such as wildlife habitat or vegetation change constantly. Users of the database should be aware of this and can contact source agencies for current versions of many of the datasets as they are updated. Also, new layers are constantly in development that have not yet been released to the public.
To keep on top of new data about the Willapa watershed and elsewhere in the Coastal Temperate Rain Forest bioregion, you can check the Interrain Pacific World Wide Web site at www.interrain.org, or contact us in Portland, Oregon.
You can also check out the Willapa Alliance World Wide Web site at www.willapabay.org/~alliance.htm or contact us in South Bend, Washington.
